They are broadcasted into your living room every day. They tell you the latest and greatest news and we rely on them to tell us the truth, just like friends and family. With all this pressure, the job of a TV reporter is much harder than it looks. However, they remain steadfast and work hard for their money. However, the amount of money some of these TV reporters make may surprise you.

Katie Couric – $15m

Kate Couric, like many others, had several reporting positions before she became co-anchor of “The Today Show”. However, she left that position, after working in it for 15 years, to become the first female anchor of the “CBS Evening News”. She left CBS News in 2011 and began hosting her own talk show in 2012. In 2014, she was hired as the Global Anchor of Yahoo! News. She recently left the position in June 2017.
